Working Group Schedule
The preliminary program of the Workshop dedicates over 16 hours to Working Group
overviews, sessions and summaries. Working Group talks are organized by the
regional co-convenors for each of the four topical areas below. While plenary talks
are generally rather broad surveys of a particular subject (and usually not specific to
a single experiment), the Working Groups allow a larger (and younger) group of speakers
to cover specialized subjects in more detail. Participants who would like to offer a Working Group
talk should contact the appropriate convenors (see below) directly.
Working group sessions will be held on every day of the Workshop except the first (August 24) and
last (August 30). Roughly four hours of meetings will thus be held on each of four days, immediately
before and after lunchtime. Joint sessions between Working Groups covering areas of mutual
interest are arranged by agreement of the respective co-convenors.
The preliminary agenda allocates Working Group-related time as follows:
- Thursday, August 24: Working Group Previews four 15-minute
talks by convenors (one per WG).
- Friday, August 25: Morning and afternoon sessions, two hours
each.
- Saturday, August 26: Open day - no meetings.
- Sunday, August 27: 90-minute morning session and two-hour afternoon
session.
- Monday, August 28: Morning and afternoon sessions, two hours each.
- Tuesday, August 29: Morning and afternoon sessions, two hours each.
- Wednesday, August 30: four 30-minute reports, one from each
Working Group, in the morning.
