NuFact 06 Summer School Accommodations

Housing for the School

The registration fee includes all accommodations and two meals per day during the School.

At both UCLA and UC Irvine, accommodations will be provided in on-campus student housing based on double occupancy.  Students may request specific roommates, if both agree.

Towels, linens and soap are provided with the rooms.  Shampoo is not.

Accommodations at UCLA

During the UCLA phase of the school (August 15-20), student accommodations will be provided in UCLA dormitory rooms (double occupancy). 

Two meals a day (breakfast and dinner) will be provided at the UCLA dormitory.

A wired Ethernet port is available in the rooms.

Each room has a phone, but calling cards are required to place calls outside the UCLA campus.

Parking is available for an additional charge of $8.00/day.

Accommodations at UC Irvine

During the UC Irvine phase of the school (August 20-23), student accommodations will be provided in the Campus Village apartments (shared two-bedroom apartments).

Two meals a day will be provided (lunch and dinner).  The apartments come with a fully-equipped kitchen, and there is shopping within 10-minute walking distance.

Wired Ethernet ports are available in the apartments.

A phone is available in room; local calls are free, long-distance calls will require a phone card.

The apartments also come with television, a DVD player and stereo.

Parking is available for an additional charge of $8.00/day.

Students attending the NuFact Workshop after the Summer School will remain in the same apartment.
